Terms of Use — Grid Team

By downloading, accessing, or using the Grid Team mobile app (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. About Grid Team

Grid Team is an independent, unofficial mobile application for fans of Formula 1 and MotoGP. The App is not affiliated with the Formula One Group, the FIA, Dorna Sports, any team, or any driver. All trademarks, logos, and copyrighted material remain the property of their respective owners.

The App provides:

• F1 and MotoGP race standings and calendars (data from public sources)
• Articles and videos from third-party RSS / YouTube feeds
• Race predictions and private leagues for entertainment purposes only
• Circuit information and steward decisions

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in some EU countries) to create an account. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree not to:

• Share your account with others
• Create multiple accounts to abuse leagues or predictions
• Impersonate another person
• Use abusive, offensive, or misleading pseudos

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Predictions, Leagues, Banter

Predictions and league features are provided for entertainment only. No real money, prizes, or gambling are involved. Banter content in leagues is user-generated and the league admin is responsible for moderation.

You agree not to:

• Post hate speech, harassment, or illegal content in league names or chats
• Manipulate scores or leaderboards through cheating or multi-accounting
• Use the App for any commercial or fraudulent purpose

5. Third-Party Content

Articles and videos shown in the App come from third-party sources (RSS feeds, YouTube). We do not own this content. The third-party publisher remains responsible for their content. If you believe any content infringes your rights, contact us at contact@gridteam.app.

6. Intellectual Property

The App itself (code, design, logos of Grid Team) is © Grid Team and protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App without permission.

F1, MotoGP, team and driver names, logos, and images belong to their respective owners. We use them under fair use / news reporting purposes only.

7. Advertising

The App displays ads via Google AdMob to remain free. By accepting the ad consent prompt, you allow personalized or non-personalized ads to be shown. You can change your consent anytime in Profile → Privacy & Data → Manage ad consent.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Data shown (standings, schedules, stewards decisions) is collected from public sources and may contain inaccuracies, delays, or errors. Do not rely on Grid Team for official information — always verify with formula1.com and motogp.com.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grid Team and its operators are not liable for:

• Inaccuracies in race data, predictions outcomes, or third-party articles
• Loss of data, leagues, predictions due to technical issues
• Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account anytime via Profile → Privacy & Data → Delete my account (immediate, irreversible).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of France. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
